Local Groups
Simpol where you live
If you want to get involved promoting Simpol in your area, or just have a cuppa with local supporters, then a Local Simpol Group could be the way forward. Local Groups can get all sorts of support from Simpol-UK.
Local groups get local people to join the campaign and so put increasing electoral pressure on their local MP to sign the Simpol Pledge. Campaigning comes in all shapes and sizes: such as holding a Global Co-operation Street Party, discussing policy ideas, going on marches and holding street stalls together. Local Groups hold open monthly meetings to discuss ways to get their MP signed up and they encourage other NGO campaign groups to join in.
If there isn’t already a Simpol Group in your city, town or parish, then you might like to get one going, click here to check.
