People’s Policy

world leaders in all of us In the new interconnected, globalised world, every individual is responsible for every other. What we all need and care about is extremely important. We need to put this into practice with global policies expressing a new fusion of heart and intellect – the policies which could soon become the Simultaneous Policy.

Adopters vote annually on the global issues they feel to be most import. They also put forward and vote on specific policies which address those issues.

Don’t be shy, give it a try. How to suggest policy.

Global policy isn’t rocket science. Just take a  look at some of the strongest policies being pushed for by campaigns like Stop Climate Chaos, Make Poverty History, War on Want, Oxfam, Greenpeace, Jubilee Debt Campaign, the New Economics Foundation, etc. There are many great polices, but global cooperation and simultaneous, same time action is needed if they’re ever to be implemented. With Simpol, you can either put forward your own policy ideas, or why not put forward one of the many being advocated by other leading campaigns?

Remember:  Simpol’s policy remains a work-in-progress until all or sufficient nations are on board and able to begin policy implementation. In that way, everyone gets the opportunity to have thier say, and the policy stays open and flexible. It also means policies can be continuously tailored to changing global circumstances until implementation occurs. Information is power and we are much cleverer together.

Getting your MP on board

How many Simpol Adopters does it take to screw in an MP’s light bulb? Not as many as you might think. Developing our own global policy would be useless unless we had the power to drive our politicains and governments to implement it. By Adopting Simpol, we really can make our collective will acted upon. On average it takes a few more than one, but evidence shows that Adopting Simpol is a powerful way to get politicians to support the campaign. To see if your MP has signed up Click here. If yours hasn’t why not get in touch with them to suggest they do the right thing?
